CIES Go to school is a series of events organized by one of the Autonomous Institution in Student Activity Unit of Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya which is Center of Islamic Economic Studies (CIES). Activities that introduce the Islamic economy in general and the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya as well as the Islamic economics program that is devoted to high school students. Department of Public Relations that focuses on network maintenance, network development, and communication development among members in CIES institutions.
With the theme of “Islamic Economic as a Problem Solving for Proverty and Inquality” through this activity aims to provide a basic introduction to Islamic economics to attract high school students to continue to develop their knowledge of Islamic economics and is expected to be the main attraction for students to choose FEB UB as a later study option.
To meet the achievement of the target audience, this activity not only focuses on one school but we target in five schools. Background target selection is not arbitrary, we focus on students who have occupied the 12th grade high school. First we visited MAN 1 unfortunate on March 8, 2018 at 06.30 WIB. For the second target we will visit Man 2 Malang on April 5, 2018 at 08.00 WIB. For the third target we will visit SMAN 7 Malang on April 12, 2018 at 08.00 WIB. For the fourth Target we will visit SMAN 9 Malang on April 19, 2018 at 08.00 WIB. For the fifth target we will visit Brawijaya Smart School on April 26, 2018 at 08.00 WIB
The materials to be delivered in CGTS are materials that are themed around the nature of Islamic economics, Islamic economic superiority compared to conventional economy, and sharing about environment of Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya. It aims to direct them to choose a suitable and appropriate PTN. The presenters who will deliver the materials are the Chairman and Daily Board of CIES who have a good knowledge about Islamic economics and about the Faculty of Economics and Business Universitas Brawijaya.
